The story

At the end of the nineteenth century, European aristocrats and American millionaires fell in love with the aesthetics of the Islamic world, and Moroccan craftsmen were ready to meet the demand. This cabinet is the product of that collaboration: cedar frames filled with geometric star-pattern inlay in bone, ebony, and fruitwood, the whole thing smelling faintly of the cedar that has kept it intact for a hundred and twenty years. The doors open to reveal four shelves and the smell intensifies.
